No. R- III/25-3/2012                                                     Dated 22--10-2012

To
          The Secretary,
          Department of Posts
          Dak Bhawan,
          New Delhi-110 116.

Subject:- Transfer posting  in the name of attachment from one office to another mail office –Case of West Bengal Circle

Respected Madam,

Kindly refer to this union letter of even number dated 25-7-2012 on the above mentioned subject.

in West Bengal Circle staff is being transferred from one Mail office to another to clear the accumulated mails without paying any TA /DA to the staff which shows that there is heavy accumulation of mails in the offices due to wrong policies of the Department. Offices from where officials have been transferred are as under:_
          From                                         To

Bankura RMS                                       Kharagpur RMS
Purulia RMS                                         Kharagpur RMS
Durgapur RMS                                     Burdwan RMS
Asansol RMS                                        Burdwan RMS
In the agreement with the unions of 16-01-2012 on the Charter of Demands on Strike Notice  it was agreed that the officials in the mail office will not be transferred out to another city. It appears that subordinate offices are not interested in implementing the agreements / decisions of Directorate.
We urge upon you to kindly intervene into the matter and direct CPMG West Bengal Circle to sent back the officials to their parent offices as per agreement and also pay them TA/DA for the period they have been posted outside their parent office.

                             With regards.
Yours sincerely,

                                                                                           (Giri Raj Singh)
                                                 General Secretary
