Ref : Directorate letter no. F.No.PA/BK-I/CSI-PIC/2019-20/Part dated 24.03.2020
Sir,
As we aware about lockdown imposed consequent to Covid-19 outbreak our department is opening Post Offices alone with skeletal staff and all back office officials are made to stay at home. In this context this union would like to bring to your kind notice that day by day the commuting to office is becoming a tough task. Especially Accounts branch officials are finding it difficult as the work of Salary drawal, Pension drawal are known only to them and not all the officials have expertise to work in Accounts branch. In Tamilnadu Circle despite the above referred Directorate letter has ordered off-cycle payment of salary and employee payment to be done by DAP has been decentralized and every HOs are doing this work instead of the DPA.
As a result a considerable number of officials are coming to office daily in order to ensure timely completion of work relating to Salary drawal. For March salary they were able to complete the preliminary work before lock down so they managed the live run posting and interface work.
Now for April the work relating to Salary drawal is yet to be started. Apart from this DA Arrears, advance of pay are also needs to be done. In the absence of complete shutdown of transportation, in HOs the officials are finding it difficult to commute to office.
Therefore, you are requested to kindly examine the possibility to give access to CSI SAP to work from home .
With regards,
Yours Sincerely,
(R N Parashar)
