All India RMS & MMS Employees Union Group `C`CHQ  expresses profound grief at the demise of former Speaker of Lok Sabha, Shri Somnath Chatterjee today at Kolkata after prolonged ailment. He was 89.
He had been a veteran parliamentarian having been elected in Lok Sabha ten times and played important role in taking up the issue of the working people and their rights and livelihood and also in defending democracy, secularism and federalism.
As a renowned lawyer by profession, he had taken up many cases in defence of the rights of the workers and employees against victimization by employers and the Govts. To
            Shri A.N. Nanda,
            Secretary,
            Department of Posts,
            Dak Bhawan,  New Delhi-110 001

Sub: Implementation of Parcel Network Optimization Project in Deptt. of Post.

Sir,
It has come to our notice that Deptt of Post is going to implement Parcel Network Optimization Project. In this connection a meeting was called by member (Operations) on 28.05.2018 to discuss the various issues on implementation of PNOP. Various suggestions were given by General Secretary, All India RMS & MMS Employees Union Gr ‘C’, verbally and in writing vide letter no. R-III/PNOP/2018 dt 27/0/2018 , copy of which is enclosed for ready reference.
But it is highly regretted that not a single suggestion given by R-III (NFPE) has been considered before implementation of PNOP. If this is the mindset of officers to neglect totally the views of Staff side, than what’s the use of organizing such type of ceremonial meetings.
In this connection we would like to urge you to kindly cause suitable instructions to all concerned to consider the suggestion given by the staff side.
Further we request that (1) before deciding L-1 and L-2  hubs Circle administration should discuss with circle unions and decide keeping in view the geo-graphical conditions and to avoid back routing.
            (2) Sufficient accommodation and adequate infrastructure should be provided for Parcel hubs.
            (3) Before implementation of PNOP, Problems being arisen out of C.S.I, should also be settled so that the Staff should not suffer.

It is therefore requested to kindly cause necessary action in this regard so that the difficulties and problems to be arisen after PNOP may be settled and public work should not suffer and staff may also get rid of all such problems and difficulties .
An early action is highly solicited.
Hoping for a positive response.
With regards.
                                                                                                     Yours Sincerely,
