As you are aware, that the people of Kerala are in the grip of unprecedented flood havoc. Please see below published APPEAL of Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Kerala which explains the seriousness of the situation.
All General/Circle/Divisional & Branch Secretaries of NFPE affiliated unions are requested to advise all Rank and file of NFPE affiliated unions to donate maximum amount to the Chief Minister's Relief fund in the Bank Account as detailed in the below appeal of Chief Minister of Kerala , under intimation to NFPE HQ.

Sub: Inaugural functions in connection with the launching of IPPB in Kerala Circle -regarding.
Sir,
It is to bring to your kind notice that the entire people of Kerala are suffering due to the heavy flood and natural calamities. There is no words to explain the untold miseries and sufferings. The entire State Government machinery, Social organisations and Public representatives are joined together and totally indulged in the disaster management. In many places our staff members are also involved in the relief work as volunteers.
The State Government and various organisations have cancelled or postponed the public programmes/melas/meetings due to the disaster. We are receiving many negative comments from our staff and public from Kerala regarding the solecism in the conduct of such a grand function in connection with the IPPB. In such a condition efforts of Kerala officials to ensure maximum participation will be in vain.
It is therefore requested to kindly postpone the mega function of the launch of IPPB in Kerala Circle which is to be scheduled on 21.08.2018. Keeping in view the disastrous climatic conditions of Kerala.
