30th All India conference of All India
RMs & MMS Employees Union Group `C`
was held at K. Adinaryayana Nagar, B.K. Banerjee Hall Tirupati
(A.P) from 15th to 18th
June, 2014 under the Presidentship of Com. S.K. Bardhan President CHQ where
nearly 1200 delegates and visitors coming from different corners of the country
participated.
All the Circle Secretaries except H.P. All the
office bearers and CWC members attended the Conference. The reception Committee
had made nice arrangements for boarding and lodging. The Central Working
Committee Meeting was held on 14th June and 18th June,
2014 and in between Conference decided the various issues connected to the AIC.
FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY:- The Flag
hoisting ceremony was held on the very first day of the Conference in the
morning time on 15th June, 2014 at 10.00 AM.
National Flag was hoisted by Com. K.K.N. Kutty
President Confederation. NFPE Flag was
hoisted by Com. R.N. Prashar ASG NFPE and AIRMS & MMS E.U. Gr. `C` Flag was
hoisted by Com. S.K. Bardhan President CHQ R-III. After the Flag hoisting
homage was paid to the martyrs in the martyrs column.
INAUGURAL SESSION SUBJECT COMMITTEE:-Com.
S.K. Bardhan President CHQ R-III presided over the Inaugural Session , Subject
Committee and welcomed all the delegates
and visitors attending the Conference.
Com. K.K.N. Kutty President Confederation
inaugurated the Inaugural Session on 15th June, 2014 at 11.00 AM. He elaborately spoke on the
anti-worker, anti people policies of the government. He elaborately reported
the action initiated by the Department
of Posts with regards to downsizing , outsourcing of the Postal functions and
closer/merger of RMS , Post Offices, CG
employees problems, 7CPC memorandum, Minimum wage, Rs.26000/-, Rate of
increment 5%, 5promotions, Allowances, GIS, LTC, Leave, Cash less Me3dical
facilities, 50% DA merger, IR, filling up vacant posts, inclusion of GDS in 7
CPC, REgularise casual labour and 15 Point Charter of Demands.

A colourful procession started from MCD office to
Bus Stand on 15th June, 2014.
After procession Subject Committee started.
Com.Giri Raj Singh General Secretary R-III placed
the Draft Report from May, 2012 to May 2014 before the house for discussion and
adoption.
Com. Jagdish Prasad Treasurer placed the Audited
Statement of Accounts for the year
2011-2012, 2012-2013 and Accounts from April, 2013 to March, 2014 subject to
Audit for acceptance.
On 16-6-2014 Subject committee
was started at 9 am Corn. D.K. Rahate Ex President NFPE Inaugurated the subject
committee. Corn. R.N, Prashar ASG NFPE. Coms Nageswar Rao G/S COCAP, R. Seetha Laxmi G/S P-IV, P. Suresh G/S R-IV,
P Panduranga Rao G/S GDS (NFPE), R. Shiv Naryana President P-III, P. Mohan G/S Casual Labour and other leaders addressed the subject committee.

Pillai Ex Secretary General NFPE & General Secretary R-III released Video
CD and delivered a lecture on Com. K. Adinarayana death anniversary. Two
minutes silence was observed in the
memory of Com. Adinarayana. He elaborately spoke, Pensionary benefits, Election, UPA/NDA Govt.
Policies, NPS, FDI, Wage Revision of C.L. PT DRM, Contingent Workers, attack on
Postal/RMS/MMS and C.G. Employees problems.
Corn. K. Ragavandran Ex- Secretary General NFPE and
other leaders addressed the subject committee.
Com. Murali leader CITU delivered lecture on Com. A.
Naryana death anniversary.

Working Chairman Reception Committee, C.H. Koteswar Rao Financial Secretary Reception
Committee along with his team welcomed all the guests and CWC members with the
memento.
A cultural programme was organised by the Reception Committee
on 15th, 16th and
17th June 2014.
Com. Giri Raj Singh General Secretary R-III initiated the discussion on
the Draft Report and stated that all the sections of the society are under
attack due to disastrous policies pursued by the Government as dictated by the
IMF , World bank, W.T.O. He also stated that Govt. is giving up the
responsibilities in all. New Govt. is going to amend the India Post Office Act
in order to regularize the courier companies. The Department of Posts has
decided to downsizing the Department of Posts by outsourcing its functions and
setting up NDPCs, L-1, L-2 and Parcel Hubs and setting up of AMPCs. Existing
benefits presently being enjoyed by Central Govt. Employees are going to be
withdrawn. He stated that the Postal
Employees are determined to continue its struggles along with main stream and
working movement and replied clarified
all the points raised by the delegates in the Conference.
