Subject:- Proposal of merger of Pune CSO with Pune RMS.

Respected  Madam,

              It has been intimated by the Circle Secretary All India RMS & MMS Employees Union Group `C` Maharastra Circle that CPMG Maharastra Circle has mooted a proposal to merge Pune CSO with Pune RMS.

            In 2011 a similar proposal regarding shifting of Puna CSO in the Building of Pune RMS was taken up but later on held in abeyance  due to its non feasibility. There are about 40 officials working in  Pune CSO and Pune RMS has no accommodation to adjust 40 extra officials and work of Pune CSO. Now this proposal has again been taken up.

In the agreement with the unions on 16-01-2012 on the Charter of Demands on Strike Notice The Chairperson assured that L2 mail offices will not be closed for the next three years. It appears that subordinate officers are not interested in implementing the agreements / decisions of Directorate.

                            

We  urge upon you to kindly intervene into the matter and direct CPMG Maharastra Circle to  drop the proposal of merger of Pune CSO with Pune RMS to maintain congenial atmosphere in the Circle otherwise it may lead to industrial action.
