Norms for the Operational Activities at Speed Posts Sorting Hubs, Intra-Circle
Hubs and Computerised Registration Centres.
Kindly refer to Directorate letter Memo No.
28-8/2011-D dated 17-01 2013 vide which Revised Norms for operational Activities at Speed Posts Sorting
Hubs,Intra-Circle Hubs and Computerised Registration Centres have been issued.
It was resolved in
the Central Working Committee Meeting of our Union held on 21st -22nd
January, 2013 at Ambala to intimate the Department of Posts our firm
resolve against the arbitrary decision to raise the out turn in CRC/SPC.
It is again reiterated
that it is not humanly possible to give out turn more than 700 articles in 8
hours duty as the eighty percent operations like as Receipt & opening,
closing and sorting are being done manually except scanning.
After discussions in CWC held at Ambala and
at Circle level, we are giving /submitting the following suggestions

functioning, so to reduce the
pressure upon the eye ball, the rest is required.
In addition to the above
this union also brings into your kind notice that this items is pending in the
Departmental Council.
There is an agreement
between the Official Side and Staff Side that comments/views of staff side will
be taken before implementing any new norms. In this case this agreement has
been breached.
We would therefore urge upon
you to withdraw the above orders forthwith in order to maintain efficiency in
the Department and congenial atmosphere.

Subject:- Agitational
programme of R-III & R-IV (NFPE) Assam
Circle.
Respected Madam,
It has been reported to this union that R-III
& R-IV (NFPE) of Assam Circle has
decided to launch an agitational
programme including Mass hunger Strike on 27th August, 2013 and One
Day Token Strike in the month of November, 2013 for settling long pending
issues and grievances like as creation of L-I offices in Assam Circle, Repair
and modernisation of RMS offices, Holding of DPC regularly, holding of
periodical meetings in time, repatriation of RMS officials on deputation to CO,
DA (P) and MMS, drawl of OTA and Medical bills, stop harassment and punitive
action.
We would request you to
kindly intervene in this matter urgently and direct the CPMG/PMG/SSRM for the
settlement of long pending issues of the staff and create a congenial
atmosphere in the Division/ Circle.
A copy of the Charter of
Demands and agitational programme is also attached for your kind perusal.
