Subject:_-Introduction of New system of bag number in Mail System
This has reference to Directorate memo
of even number dated 15.11.2006 on the subject cited above, vide which a new
system of bag number was introduced with effect from 1st January,
2007.
1.
After a review of the functioning of the bag numbering
system, it has been decided to discontinue the bag number system with immediate effect.
2.
This may be brought to the notice of all concerned.
